Not too much out on him. Couldn't find his signing bonus but I did see where he was listed without a signing bonus when all bonus' over 200K were listed.

6-2, 170 and played at 17 years old in 2019 where he showed good plate discipline. Plays SS so he's probably athletic. About what I would expected for Bleier. Basically a low-end lottery ticket.

Going off of very little information here but it looks like the O's didn't get an actual prospect for Bleier.  I would have been surprised if they had.

But great for Bleier he ended up on a possible playoff team that has a decent shot at advancing if they do make it.

They’ve never lost a playoff series.

I think there were six players that we’going to be named later.

I appreciate that Richard did not have that much value, but I do hope that the other five are a little bit more exciting.

Meanwhile, every good thing to Richard, I swear he always looks like a secondary character from the Dick Van Dyke show.

The power tool is a hard one to measure on the stats of a 17 year old.  Its all about projection.  6'2' 170 can turn into 6'3' 210 by the time he is 23.  His OBP is great; more BB's than K's. Also 5 HBPs.  Seems like he has decent discipline and contact rate.  Made 18 errors, but that's not uncommon at this age and level.  Couldn't find any film on him.

That’s still good.   It’s a league where the average K/BB is 1.8.   Lots of walks in that league, so his BB rate is very high for real baseball but just slightly above average for the DSL.   13.3% K rate in a league where 20.5% is average.    Pretty much a league average hitter overall.    Kind of a yawn but he could develop.
