A walk through the 1990 Upper deck set

As one of my 1001 ongoing projects, I have decided to create a blog where I will write a post for every single baseball card in the 1990 Upper Deck set including anecdotes, stats, charts, and the like. It should be fun. Follow along if you're interested -- suggestions and criticisms are always welcome.

It's actually the 88Topps blog that motivated to take on a similar project. I am not breaking new ground.

I too love that Ripken card, I have an autographed copy.

1990 Upper Deck is a great set, it's got one of my favorite Ripkens in it:

I made this big mistake of when I was a kid of separating my complete sets into the best players. So I have a piles of good players from all kinds of years jumbled up together and the not so good ones jumbled up together too. Bad move.
