I feel it's always an advantage to make the opponent use as much bullpen as possible in the first game of a series.  Even if their pen is very good

Gutierrez is clearly in shape, looks athletic. More than you can say about Franco. He seems to really jump forward at the plate  and loses all his power. Don’t they teach you : “stay back and use your back leg for power”
