If McKenna can just hit a little bit, he's an ideal fourth outfielder. McKenna can play all three outfield positions, has pinch running ability with the only question right now being his bat.

To be honest, even if he doesn’t hit any more than he’s hitting, I still think he’s valuable. I’m tired of loading up our bench with the DJ Stewart types. I still fondly remember David Lough

On the next O's playoff team, who do you predict will be the top 4 OF's on that team?

Vladimir Guerrero the 5th

Snxyxxx Thwrxxx, the first major leaguer from the planet Zoltar, with whom we will make first contact in 2082

93 year old Austin Hays, who will play in the 1000th game of his career that year

Or when Michael Bourn made that nice catch when we beat Toronto in the wild card game ?

That was after his three year stint in the Lunar League right?

Neustrom, Stowers, Cowser and 1 of Hays, Haskin, Trimble or Rhodes.

I laugh, but I’m crying inside.

Yeah every time I’ve seen a guy with 95+ go up in the zone, he can’t touch it. And he can’t take the pitch either.

So I was just in a batting cage in Little Rock, Arkansas last week where every pitch was 90mph at eye level.  Would be great practice for him.

70 miles an hour, yea... whatever... grrr.

High fastballs.  Can't hit 'em.  Can't lay off 'em.

The good thing is - We get to see if he can make these adjustments - and I think it's best for his personal development to try it at the ML level.

McKenna is at best a 4th outfielder!   Hmmm.   Who else did we say that about the last 2 years?   Hmmmm.   He has some talent.  Who knows.   He was putting up a .940 OPS at Norfolk.   I would have liked to see him get a full season of AB's down there.    We need to stop making definitive statements on players based on 50 sporadic AB's.     McKenna needs to lay off of the high fastball but he looks like he has talent to me.
