Yea I think I'd ultimately do it, but given our deep system I'd much prefer to ship out one of our many positional prospects. -

I keep hearing that pitchers throwing everything they got and the pitch clock. People here disagree about the pitch clock, then why is it mentioned numerous times on radio sports shows? Why has there been more TJ injuries since the pitch clock? Does the pitch clock really speed the game that much? There are other things that can speed the game up, like eliminate the batter stepping out of the box? Allow less times managers, pitching coaches and catchers to go to the mound? -
What are the chances of the O's landing a Jake Arrieta type for a bargain price? Someone that struggled for another team but figured something out and just clicks in Baltimore and brings us a WS championship? -

I'm officially beating the drum for Cesar Prieto. He's 25 and has a .296/.339/.480/.819 line in AAA. I feel like he's more than deserving of a look for St. Louis. They have a 1st round pick (19th) Nolan Gorman playing there, I guess, but he's got a .665 OPS in 267 ABs. Call up Prieto! -
Big movers: Forret 12 -> 8 E. Garica 37 -> 30 M. Rodriguez 34 -> 31 Almeyda 26 -> 21 Cook 29 -> 32 Y. Rivera 32 -> 39 Acevedo 33 -> 40 I'm not sure why the big drop for Rivera. He had a good June (1.93 ERA) and allowed 1 ER in 3 IP last week, hardly a disaster. I'm also interested in why Forret has jumped Baumeister. -
I don't like the idea of moving an arm we have under control for 6 years for an arm we would have under control for 3 months. Especially since there are a ton of question marks on that arm of the 3 month rental. I think McDermott could be a pretty special pitcher if things fall into place. I'd hold on to that lottery ticket. I'd look to move someone else at a position of redundancy.
