It's totally his fault the other guys didn't get on base in front of him.  If he was a better player he could have willed baserunners.

Ben was talking about Means velocity being down today.  He said he thought it was by design to keep something in the tank for the later innings.  As I type this, another Detroit homer off Means.  Maybe he should have been trying harder all game because he is not going to be pitching later in the game.

This has been a problem with the O's all year long - they have a tough time stringing together hits and hitting the long ball with people on base.  They have to have the highest percentage of total home runs being solo shots.

Hilarious - as Means leaves they check his hat and glove for sticky stuff.  It was obvious to everyone in the ballpark that he was not cheating today.  Maybe they should check the Tigers' bats for cork.

Means starts are supposed to the the one day during the week we look forward to as O's fans.

Maybe the Orioles will have a dramatic comeback today?
