I came here to raise the concern about the pitch count but I thought it was 72 through four innings, which is not good. But if it’s 72 in 5, that’s not bad at all.

I think Tony pointed out that Akin doesn’t have an out pitch. Everything he’s got is average at best, and even when it’s working, his counts will be high because the guy can just keep fouling stuff off.
