No idea if that Twitter embed is going to work or not, not sure how to do it.  Suffice it to say that Cowser is starting to settle into AAA today though.

 

 

EDIT - nope didn't work.  Guess I need to research that more.  Its a two run jack to right by Cowser.  Sweet looking swing and way gone.

Rough stretch for Cowser. 4 strikeouts in 4 ABs tonight.  He has now struck out 17 times in 34 AAA PA.   For those who stink at math, that’s 50%.   I guess he’s being challenged at AAA.  I haven’t seen too many of his AB’s.  He didn’t look like he was helpless against LHP but it looks like has trouble with breaking stuff overall.   The Cowser Express has come to a complete stop in AAA.

I'm seeing 0-11 with 8Ks.  But still...about as bad a start as you can get.  He's struck out at least once in every game and has only had 1 game without multiple strikeouts.

He's had a good year overall but for the season he has a K-rate of almost 29%.  He's going to have to improve on that.  At least he has something to work on over the offseason.

Yea he’s been awful since going to AAA. Quite surprising that he has been as bad as he has been.  Definitely derails the thought of him being on the team for OD next year.

There’s a lot of baseball to be played before June 2, 2023. If he’s on the Stowers plan from last year, he might go to the AFL. Plus he has all of September in AAA. He’s going to easily end up with 100-150 AAA ABs.

It’s always unpredictable how quickly a player will adjust from one level to another.  Both Westburg and Henderson initially struggled when they moved up to AA last year, then came out of the gates blazing when moved to AAA.   Cowser destroyed AA from the day of his promotion, but hasn’t hit in AAA yet.  You just never know.  Hopefully Cowser gets his land legs under him  over the next 3 weeks before the AAA season ends.
