When it's all said and done, which player gets the most WAR for the team that drafted them?

I'm going to go with Adley.  I could see Adley signing a reasonable extension with the O's.  Witt being a 3B/SS, will have a longer career/peak, so probably will leave for the huge FA contract.

I'm not sure I'd say that.  I would say he is more likely to accrue more career WAR than Adley.

Royals have a new owner, team still has that new owner smell.  He hasn't made his put my stamp on the team move yet.

Locking up Witt is that type of move.

Molina broke into the majors at 21.

Adley being a rookie at 24 really hurts his chances at putting up career leaderboard type numbers.

As I think about how Wieters and Machado came up together in the same year, but look at them now, one is finished and the other is still slugging it out, it made me wonder if picking catchers over other positions is just not "efficient".
