My wife works for comcast in this arena.  She says it’s the “bit rate” they are using for the broadcast.  Nothing to do with cable v. Internet.  All comes in through same pipe.

I’m not a fan of people missing the game tonight but growing up in 80’s where any game being on TV was a treat I can deal with it. I know my father in law can’t watch it. 
 

MLB just better not over do it. My DirecTV bill is a joke. I also don’t have real fast internet. The whole streaming/cable/satellite deal is a gigantic mess. Some people don’t have access to fast internet and/or it costs a ton.

That's good. I love the way she covered the Andino night--kept trying to get the other broadcasters and commentators (Jim Rice et al) to admit the possibility that maybe the Red Sox weren't going to make it.

Is it the Tor/LAA game?   That's Manoah against Silseth -- who is somehow the first guy from the 2021 draft to make the majors despite being a 11th round pick.

Yeah, it's the Blue Jays/Angel game starts at 9:30 pm. Was hoping Ohtani was playing, but he's not in the lineup tonight assuming ESPN app is correct.
