Fairly good article this morning.  Maybe we are more in this race than what I personally was giving them credit for.   It's been an amazing turnaround since the beginning of the season.

The article posts a chart about run differential which is positive for June and July.  IIRC, we're close to being even on the season, too.

Rightfully so. I don't know if many people that would have expected this type of turnaround without a heavy dose of call-ups. Either way, it's great what they've accomplished and it brings a lot of hope for the future.

Thanks for posting this article.  It's a good read.  BTW, I'm all for adopting the Pythgorian Model for calculating wins for the rest of the season.

If that means we've been holding our own against the better teams while dominating lesser ones, isn't that a common way teams reach the post-season?
