Big series coming up this weekend @Rays

Considering we are currently tied with them for the final playoff spot.  Furthermore we are 8-8 vs them so far this season.  If we take 2/3 we will ensure we win the tiebreaker if needed.   If we lose 2/3 then we ensure we lose it.

Hoping the good guys get it done!

It amazing to me that this Rays team is still playing well.  With the injuries they have and the guys who are out and the payroll they have, it’s unreal how they keep winning.

We haven't had a series this big in years.  We need to win the first one before we can worry about the second.  The Rays are really tough at home.  I still remember they swept us in April.  

We need three quality starts.  Our pitching got us back into the hunt.  Our team ERA 14th in all of baseball and I sure as hell didn't see that coming.  Did anyone?  If we can keep it there we're in the hunt until the end.

The Rays are such a great organization, but they're holding on by the skin of their teeth at this point. I actually don't think they're going to be there for the 3rd wild card in the end. I expect it to be a competition against one of the AL Central teams.

That said, yes 2 of 3 would be huge for the reasons stated in the OP.
