I feel it too, and I think it's because it's almost more than a playoff spot for this team, it's respectability and validation. Every loss proves the naysayers right. Every win proves them wrong. It's just different from the big payroll '96-'97 teams or the consistently excellent teams from the '70s-'80s.

Also I’m not sure how he didn’t get tossed. He looked like he was ready to clock the umpire if Bichette doesn’t jump in front of him.
