Glad to know he is a lifelong fan of his hometown.

Orioles chairman and CEO John Angelos said in a statement that “as a lifelong fan of Bruce Springsteen and of my hometown, it’s an honor” to announce the concert.

Not everyone is a fan of their home town.

I just saw him in Orlando for the first time.  He really put on a great show.  I'm 61, and not really a huge Boss fan, but my best friend bought the tickets and came out from California and took my wife and I.  About 2 hours and 45 minutes.  Glad I saw it.  🙂

I'm moving close to 63.  I went to see the Foo Fighters a few years ago at Merriweather Post because I wanted to see them while they were still relevant and I was still able to stand up for 3 hours 🙂

Took my son to see the Police when they were at the Virgin Festival at Pimlico in '07 for much the same reason.

But, I couldn't imagine going to see the Stones (or another band from my youth) today, even though I wish like hell I'd at least seen them in the 70's or 80's.  If you can't get no satisfaction by the time you're 79 years old, you ain't never gettin' any.

He could be another threat on the basepaths.  He was born to run.

On another note,  I would request he include my favorite song of his on his set list: The Ghost of Tom Joad.

What about the Rage Against the Machine version? Tom Morello has recorded stuff with Springsteen. Also did guitar once with E Street band on the Australian tour.

Didn't know the Orioles have an entertainment division. Premier entertainment venue? Three big concerts ever.

ABOUT ORIOLES ENTERTAINMENT: Since officially opening its doors on April 6, 1992, Oriole Park at Camden Yards has been one of the leading catalysts for year-round tourism and economic impact in Baltimore and Maryland. In recent years, Oriole Park has evolved into a premier entertainment venue, welcoming music lovers of all genres to concerts and events at the ballpark and driving more than 75 million visitors to Charm City and delivering more than $10 billion of economic impact. Orioles Entertainment hosted legendary acts in 2022 and 2019 and dozens of additional singers and songwriters over the last few seasons through the Birdland Summer Music Series.

Unless Van Zandt is going to break into a Silvio Dante monologue, I can’t imagine being less enthused for a concert.

"When I came to open up one morning, there you were with your head half in the toilet, your hair was in the toilet water... disgusting."

He is playing at the new and improved Baltimore Arena now CFG Arena...

If you're gonna go old school, it's the Baltimore Civic Center.  Home of the Bullets.  Good thing they changed that name.  Crimes much better now.
