Thanks. I was wondering if they would let Urias play. This makes sense to me. Though I'm still hoping to see Mateo and Mullins together back to back in a future lineup again.

I think the idea is to play him as much as possible vs LHP. We may see a pinch hitter along with Adley moving to C and losing the DH in the late innings.

With the days off I was wondering too. But I understand it, and then I watched the game, and I understood it even more.

To be fair, James McCann performed better than Adley today. Beyond the base hit that set up the first run, what impressed me more was how he hustled down to first base to back up Mountcastle and saved a run during the error.

I think that I understand what the Orioles are trying to do in playing Varva as an outfielder against right handed pitching for now to see what they have. But I believe it's quite clear that Cowser is the more talented player and better outfielder. I hope at some point, hopefully by no later than the start of Summer, that we allow Varva to be slotted into a bench role/LH pinch hitter. And bring up Cowser to play everyday in the outfield.

You really think there is a reason for Vavra to be on the team if Cowser is promoted?
