Don't have the stats on this, but I would strongly suspect it's going to help us more than hurt us. It affects both teams, but our guys are much more familiar with it and can try to work around it. Plus the front office has already been building the roster around it.

Someone posted the stats and in the first year, it hurt the team more than it helped from a home runs standpoint.

No CHANCE.

First off Elias would have to admit he's wrong....not likely.

Secondly it's going to cost a lot more to undo what they did.  They need all that money to help enable gambling.

Elias said they will adjust the wall over the next few years. I guess if the MSA and the taxpayers pay for it

They charted it last season and the net was that we lost more runs than the wall saved. I think it was about 8 runs in the hole negative for our team. It might be even more at this rate for this season.

The wall only benefits left handed pitchers and we don't have any left handed pitchers good enough to reap the rewards of such a distant Green Monster in Camden Yards.

Thanks, missed that. I still see the reasoning though re. our guys theoretically being able to learn to work the wall and our being able build the roster around it. Not sure I get how it would inherently disadvantage us unless we don't account for it.
