The patience in this lineup is truly outstanding. Reminds me of all those years watching the Red Sox drive up pitch counts against us over and over again.  Nice to have that in our side for once.

Even though it would suck to lose ADLEY s framing, at this point I want it. These umpires are really bad at times. Let’s just get the strikes and balls right

I think it's slightly worse this year than last year. But every time I see a video clip of 90s pitchers, it's clear umpiring has gotten a lot better in the last 30 years.

The terrible plate umpiring this spring should be converting many of the "like the human element" holdouts.

I’m starting to wonder if it just feels more pronounced for us because of how many pitches we re taking. We re taking a ton of pitches and especially borderline pitches.
