It's pretty clear to me that MC and O-Hearn are letting these throws go by to put some pressure on, and help build the character of, the young pitching staff. That's veteranosity for you.

I’m a huge Mountcastle booster.  He should have had that.  He shouldn’t have pick so many Henderson throws out of the dirt.

You mean two? (the one last night was O'Hearn). The other ones were from Matteo and others. Infielders are taught to err by keeping throws low, instead of high. If you can't pick balls out of the dirt, you can't play 1B at the major league level
