It would be nice for Stowers to figure his swing out and get called back up.   He has the power - he just never got much of a chance to settle into the bigs with regular ABs.  I would like to see him get another opportunity.

I am still baffled by the way they handled him once they called him up and early this year.

This is my only real beef with Elias, and to some extent Hyde.

The club has progressed to the point where it's no longer necessary to trot out AAAA veterans and journeymen dumpster fodder...  but they keep doing it.. even acquiring more... when it is very obviously hosing solid emerging prospects out of playing time.

Stowers has earned a shot. But has been stymied by sub-par vets.

For so long in fact, that Cowser is now nipping at his heels...

The front office needs to be a little more cognizant of the impact of signing mediocre place-holders.
