Yeah, they can certainly call for a hit and run, which implies that the batter should be protecting the runner. No idea if they did there obviously.

Gunnar hunts for walks and probably just got greedy with three balls there. That was a bad take, but I generally like his extreme discipline.

I can enjoy some fun, but I think they may be playing up this bird bath. When the announcers are like, "We didn't sore, but we ignited the bird bath!" I think the floor has been lowered on what fans should be excited about.
