Bundy ejected tonight against Norfolk

I forget some of the details of the biography, but wasn't some of the Bundy myth his dad training him.    The anchor points from my childhood for things like that are Todd Marinovich, and Steffi Graf/Andre Agassi, which I think helps that couple.     

Sometimes it works, but maybe not a kid or human friendly thing to do.     Woulda been nice if he were Steffi Graf, though.

Also in the category of Buck's AAA pitchers I noticed "McFarland" got the win last night....I did not need to click to see who that was.

Povich is absolutely ahead of Hall for me, and I think you'll find that will be the norm for publications pretty soon. Better stuff and better chance to stick as a SP. Grayson I just wasn't counting as a prospect still, but you're right that he technically is still one. So I guess I'd put Povich 2nd.

OK, I'm now on board with calling Povich the #1 or 2 pitching prospect in the system.

Seven starts, ERA of 3.82, averaging fewer than 5 innings a start.  Great K rate but the 3.8 BB rate is going to bother the folks that think command is all-important.

Prior to those calcification reports about Bundy, my wife had outpatient surgery on calcification in her shoulder. Unfortunately, it returned. Very painful.  When I heard about Bundy, I knew it wasn't good.

Maybe he did roids....maybe not.  I do know that the fitness level he was pushing at the age of 18 was not necessary to be a long time great pitcher.  Look at Mussina and Palmer.  Being very fit and running and probably light weights is enough.  Lifting heavy as a pitcher just doesnt seem that wise.  But maybe I am wrong.
