Seems like that has happened a lot with our pitchers this year.  GRod has had bad early innings and been better later on too.

Could they be trying too hard in the early innings to try out all their pitches and "see what's working tonight" instead of attacking hitters from the get-go?

I literally posted that this morning. He's 35 years old on a 1 year deal making 10 million dollars. If not now then when? Not like we are protecting a young arm. He was brought here to eat innings.
