Daniel Cabrera gave up 6 in 5 innings, then Brian Burres, Rob Bell, and Paul Shuey, gave up 24 earned runs in 4 innings.  Burres alone was charged with 8 earned runs in 0.2 innings.  I didn’t even remember Bell pitching for the O’s, but I just checked and he pitched in 30 games in 2007.

G-Rod down, Akin up, Voth to the rotation and have Akin piggyback until Voth is stretched back out. Might need an additional pitcher as well with Vavra probably going down.

That's how she described Vavra's infield hit.  And she would have described it just the same way on the radio, and no one would have had a clue as to what was going on.

And then she called him Terrin O'Vavra, I guess because O'Hearn had just batted.
