Spenser Watkins Appreciation Thread

Appreciated him stepping up and filling innings last year when we needed it.  Sure, he may have only done so at approximately replacement level, but it was a much more valuable contribution to saving arms with just over a hundred innings that the rest of the team didn't have to throw.

Best of luck to him.  Great thing is he's going to the Astros, and not some dysfunctional team.

He really stepped last year to plug a hole in our rotation and pitched adequately.  Seems like a good guy and it's admirable he was able to get some significant big league time after so much time in the minors.  I'll be rooting for him and wish him nothing but the best.

I never believed in his skill set,but good lord, what an effort he put forth taking advantage of every ounce of his God given talent.  I’m sure he will be successful in his next venture.

Watkins was part of the Orioles current resurgence as a well run organization! No doubt a good example of putting in the work to have some success in a highly competitive environment that most people do not experience. You will be missed Spencer. GOod luck, except when we see you on the other side of the diamond!
