Very annoying game for the pitching.  Can this Gibson guy get it together for the third or is he going to allow another four hits an inning?

Reds announcers said Weaver has been much better after the 1st inning so we're basically screwed

Agreed, and I've said for a long time that Elias's efforts to put together a starting rotation have been pathetic. But did anyone believe during the off-season that G-Rod would not be a solid (or much better than that) starter by now?

Let's just say I disagree with you and the Orioles on this. There is a reason teams never have done that throughout the history of baseball. Because its dumb. 

ESPECIALLY, when you have a pitcher struggling and hot guy on deck.

Depends on runner and who is on deck to me. Contact may not be directly to the fielder. 
 

My main point is just that it requires a 2 our hit to score.

The only thing I like about Weaver is his shoes... and the fact that he will keep us in the game by being his normal terrible self.

What was the excuse for his last start?   This is the big boy league. Gibson has failed to do his job two starts in a row.. period.  His job is to get innings and outs.. fail. 
problem with Gibson is you get 7 excellent starts, 12 mediocre starts, and 7 horrible starts ..

I think they just told Gibson that the bullpen is short and that he’s gonna go 100 pitches no matter what.
