I like knowing that Whitaker and Trammell are only separated in career hits by 4. They’ll always be linked together.

Early 90's Tigers were my favorite squad for video games when I was a kid.  Trammell, Whitaker, Gibson, Tettelton, Fryman, Deer, Gladden, E Davis, etc.  Man, if they had some pitching!

Beating Frobby on a Saturday grid is a start to a good day.

9/9 16

Yogi Berra, Thurman Munson, Sparky Lyle

Joe Carter, Lou Boudreau, Gaylord Perry

Mel Ott, Eddie Murray, Jim Palmer

I’m way past the point of trying to beat anyone at this game.  I’m just happy if I get 9/9 and don’t do anything stupid.

My biggest point getter today was Eddie Murray for Cleveland 300 homer guy, worth 6 points.  I knew I probably could get a lower score if I’d spent a little time thinking of someone more obscure, but I enjoy putting Eddie into my answers.

8/9 224. Couldn't get Brewers/Giants.

I learned today that Pete Vuckovich won a Cy Young Award while striking out only 105 batters in 223 innings.  So, I blew my first guess at a Brewer with 200 strikeouts in a season.  I was able to fill that slot on a second guess and left the Brewers/Giants slot empty.
