And the team OPS is 100 points higher in PAs where they swing at the first pitch. The collective OPS when they put the first pitch in play is 1.064.

Frustrating when they make outs on the first pitch, I get it, but because they’re usually so patient, they generally have the opportunity to do serious damage when they hack at the first pitch.

The whole team is doing this right now.  It's almost as if they've been directed to, but it's a terrible approach when you do it 100% of the time, and it's wrecking our offense.

I wish Adley could take steroids but no one else could.   He needs about 20 feet more to his flyballs.  And the increase in bast speed would help.  

Steroids cant help his throws to second.  Maybe some time with Rick Dempsey would help.  It helped Wieters a great deal.

Game Day says Ced just struck out on what should have been Ball 4, and it wasn't really borderline or debatable.  Like they need your help, Mr. Plate Ump.
