Something Bugging me on HRs Hit

When players hit a HR, they point somewhere towards CF when passing second. What are they pointing to?

A lot of the guys throw up the 'i love you' sign language to the bullpen when rounding the bases. If you noticed when we were in Tampa they would point towards the left field foul line because of the bullpens being on the field at the Trop

If a player hits a home run, they can point wherever the heck they want.

But every player seems to do it. Are they pointing to the CF camera knowing someone they care about will watch the highlight?
