I was actually at the game Tippy picked off three guys in the same inning.  I met him five years ago at the Green Valley where he was signing autographs.  I told him I was at the game when he picked off the three guys.   He told me everyone says that to him.  LOL.  There had to be 20k people there that day so I am not surprised he gets told that a lot.

I wasn't there but I do remember watching it. Wasn't it Roenicke at 3B, Loewenstein at 2B, Sakata at C. Tippy said he kept throwing to Eddie because he was the only guy he recognized in the infield.
