The return of Kevin Brown

He'll be back at the microphone tonight in Seattle after his "NON"-suspension (what else would you call it?).

I hope Kevin paid his debt to society and learned that crime does not pay.

His horrific crime of reciting facts (and all flattering ones) about the Orioles will not be tolerated in a civilized society.

Hopefully he has rehabilitated himself.

Roy, do you know this for sure?

Just curious as I have been highly suspicious the "expected to return Friday" many have reported on was nothing close to "will return".

While I think his return is going to be awkward and newsworthy I think that if he didn't return tonight it would be a much bigger deal.

Fairly confident that Angelos would hold him to whatever contract he'd signed.

He suspended him without cause. Most contracts have a way out when it comes to something like that.

I doubt JA would care if he walked anyway. He clearly has something against him.

After shadow banning him for 2+ weeks?

I obviously have no idea what type of contract he's signed.

But I can easily see some of no compete clause being in there.

Is Brown in a situation in which he could try and litigate exactly what a suspension is?  If they paid him and just didn't make use of his services is that an unlawful suspension?

If I got a mortgage to pay do I want to deal with that?

In an ideal world, yea he tells John to stuff it and walks.

A non compete actually doesn’t hold up in the state of MD but I’m not sure if that would hold up if you cross state lines.
