Both had good ML careers though. For all the flack the Os system got during those years, they still produced some useful guys.

This could be slightly off, and I'm not even sure how it's possible, but I think Adam Frazier saw a negative number of pitches tonight. Arizona pitchers actually emerged with a lower pitch count after facing him.

the O's have not played their best baseball against the NL West, or really the NL overall,lets hope it turns around tomorrow

He had bad AB’s last night, but has been pretty darn solid at the plate over the last month.

Yeah, I’d say Mullins is more of an issue at the moment.

When Cole Irvin gives you 5.2 and only gives up 4 runs, you gotta win that game. This would be a very bad time to go into a slump. Someone has to step up besides Gunnar and O'Hearn. Gut check time.

The Frazier issue is very easy to solve.

There is no indication that Frazier will not play pretty much every day against righties. Just like there was a strong indication that this would be the reality when we signed him for 8 million. They didnt bring him in to be a part time guy, just like they didnt bring Gibson in not to be in the rotation.

Westburg has been on the team for 57 games.   Frazier has started 33 games since them.  That certainly suggests he’s sitting against RHP sometimes.   Frazier made 24 starts in May, 19 in June, 17 in July, 13 in August.
