Roy, I'm still at work so I'm following on Gameday and didn't actually see it.

But it looks on Gameday like that pitch was a solid half foot above the strike zone.   It seems to me that it was a very difficult pitch to hit for a HR, and a possible future Hall of Famer managed to pull it off.   

Maybe I'll feel differently when I actually see the replay, but it doesn't look like a mistake pitch to me.

No, you’re absolutely right. I don’t remember the last time I saw a pitch that high get hit out.

19 pitches for Wainwright and just one over 87 (that one was 88.6).

Just a guess but pitch before was still in his head.
