Gimenez has a 7-year 106M dollar contract through 2030. He's not going anywhere. He was a 7 win player last year and 5 this year.

Very solid week since the Tampa series ended.

We went on the road and went 4-3 including a trip to the champion Astros, ending our stretch of 17 games in 17 days.

The Rays, despite their great home record, went 3-3 in the last homestand of the year.

And we knocked 7 off our magic number, from 10 down to 3.

Now we have a day off and 6 home games against soft opponents while Tampa has to go on the road where they are not as good.

Couldn't have asked for much more!
