As bad as this is, the blow would have been lessened by winning game 1.  The game the Rangers were just begging to give away.

I agree that more better moves should have been made. Flaherty is a wet fart, Fuji is shaky at best.

Yes, but Webb is a  waiver guy.  He was let go by the Angels.  Flaherty has a ton of playoff experience.  Why is he on the roster if Hyde doesn't  use him in an obvious spot where he should be used?

Webb has been a lot better than Flaherty. At least give Flaherty a clean inning to start.

Yeah it is a nice mix of different tortures. Beat yourself in game 1, get obliterated in game 2. Fun times.

Yep this is this point.  Foolhardy to assume this would go well in the postseason.   Again don’t think Elias wanted to go all in this year - wanted to keep most of his player assets and reconfigure next year.    Important for some of the future nuggets to get experience and exposure.  In hindsight we will look at next year’s roster and compare to this year and wonder why we ever thought this team had a shot.

Saw someone from BA talking about Evan Carter..said his draft year, BA didn’t have him in the top 500 and were shocked when Texas took him in the second round.
