Adley just had a full day off the game Burnes started. I assume he will be DH’ing today.

I could see Cowser getting a day off.

Hays is also 2-3 off Littel and had a big hit on Friday. Could see him getting an opportunity today.

I would have sat Mullins for Stowers but I guess Hyde wants the best defense today.

There's more to it than that.

Every time Stowers gets a hit he is benched the next day.

The other way to look at is every time he gets benched he gets a hit the next game.  So, it’s working.

Littell's a pretty classic Rays story, a guy the 2023 Red Sox waived 55 weeks ago, doing a lot of good work so far.

Is the ballplayer good, or their conductor?

I think it just has to be the right combination of both parts, because Civale is an opposite example. Is the ball player bad or their conductor, in that case.

He had some decent runs as a reliever.  The Rays think outside the box.

Too many successes not to give the Rays credit.

Civale for me is an "un-Ray".

The McClanahan-Springs-Rasmussen injury stack around this time last year forced them to acquire a conventional innings-eating pitcher.
