I hear you … but maybe Irvin can provide a couple starts while they give Kremer a reset.

I was thinking more in terms of next year in response to the idea of non-tendering him...you don't non-tender a serviceable, cheap, and optionable starting pitcher.

I think it is unlikely they option him this year given the lack of other options, but we can if they decide it warrants it.

I really hope Kremer pitches well tonight; these are the last 4 starts from Kremer I’ve been to.

8 runs allowed to Brewers (2024)

5 runs against the Dodgers although the O’s did comeback to win

 7 runs in 3 innings against the Twins (that game sucked)

4 runs in 5 innings against the yanks, O’s did manage to win 7-6

Dean seems to me to that mentally he just pitches better with some runs scored early for him.   They scored a ton for him last year and he was real good the second half of the season.  Hopefully we keep the offense going and he has a good last month or so.

Nice game by Kremer, against a very pesky Nats offense that fights off two strike pitches tooth and nail.   Hopefully he can build on that.  

Palmer mentioned that Kremer has gotten 0-2 runs of run support while he’s been in the game the last 7 or so times out.  That streak wasn’t broken, but the two insurance runs in the 7th were sweet.
