Burnes was nasty tonight.  Some of the best stuff I've seen him have.  Didn't have his A command, but the ball was dancing.

Eflin gets the gold for me, Henderson the sliver and Santander the bronze.  But really this was one of the best team wins of the season, with important contributions also from Slater, Jiminez, Rutschman, O'Hearn, Holliday, Perez and Cano.

Eflin easily tonight. We needed a good start and he really stepped up. Just the one mistake on the Homer but he was really good otherwise.

Efflin for pitching into the 7th and keeping the Guardians (I always want to type Indians) in check.  If Eflin can keep this up, I feel a lot better about our playoff chances.

8/7/2024 7-3 at Blue Jays, easy gameball for Santander for two HR and a spectacular catch to rob Vlad Jr of extra bases. Big bomb by Jackson Holliday as well.

Santander gets the gold by a mile tonight.  Holliday the silver for hitting the game-winning home run, and Rogers the bronze for keeping the game close despite being undermined by Coby Mayo's poor defense.

Tony Taters gets it tonight.  Hell of a game for him.

8/9/2024 @ Tampa, easy gameball to Eflin for 7 shutout innings.

8/10, 7-5 at Rays. Mullins made a big catch at the end and Holliday had a bomb and a big leadoff walk but I'm going with Urias for the huge tie breaking blast.
