Separately, they give his arm a 40, so I expect that isn't included in the fielding grade. They do have him with 80 speed. -
Adley and Gunnar played at Norfolk when the league was more pitcher friendly. I can't say whether they'd have topped .967, but they'd both have been considerably higher than their numbers shown here. Adley had most of his AAA time in 2021 when the league had a .743 OPS. Gunnar was in AAA in 2022 when the league OPS was .750. The last two years, with the ABS system being tested, the league OPS has been .794 and .772.

Maybe they're adding in his sub par arm. He doesn't always take the best routes but he can still out run some balls. -
This is how I feel, as well. Mayo has moved ahead of him in the call-up pecking order (even if likely still not in long-term prospect value), and assuming Mayo is coming up to play 3B, there’s nowhere in the starting IF where Holliday seems likely to make us better at the moment. He’d probably be better than Mateo, but I’m not sure an MLB utility role is the right choice for his long-term development. All of that is, of course, subject to change. And a lot of it is in Jackson’s hands: as you say, he could easily “force” his way back into the conversation by starting to demolish AAA again. But he’s not doing that right now, and until that changes, I think he’s on the outside looking in — at least until September. -

This doesn’t quite smack of ERod-Miller, or Davies-Parra; I cannot remember a trade of a high upside prospect for three months of a 39-year-old’s season. I understand the arguments in favor, and McDermott has at least one serious problem, but I voted no, and I think I still vote no. -
Westburg's defense at 2B has fallen off according to most metrics, so that could be part of the concern. Right now, Elias may not want to theoretically downgrade defense at 3B and 2B. I feel like Westburg would be better at 2B if he played there full-time, or at least I'm hoping so.
