I have serious doubts that we can survive the pitching collapse and be even a quality post season team.or a post season team at all.....Once Bradish was out and Kremer was hurt...this team was in deep doo...we simply dont have many other options unless we make a major roll of the dice with one of our elite prospects..and even then...

Just sell at the deadline. Stock the farm with pitching. Oh wait, Elias can’t trade worth a darn. Any idiot can do well drafting 1/1. Outside of Gunnar, Adley, and maybe Cowser, who else has he really drafted? Don’t count Mayo, Norby. They’re rotting away in Norfolk.

Kevin Brown summed it up "When they hit, they don't pitch; when they pitch, they don't hit." We've had some decent individual performances over this long losing streak, but we can't put together decent pitching and decent hitting on the same night.

If our offense puts up a decent showing, our pitchers can't keep the opponent off the bases and they outscore us.

If our pitchers throw a hell of a game, our offense comes up small.

Winning teams find a way to sync up (through luck or otherwise) good pitching and good hitting nights. We're looking less and less like a winning team.
