That's what I'm thinking give the A's three (maybe even four) good prospects for Miller and perhaps another A's player. The A's are talent deficient and need players.

No, but long term Miller might end up being worth more than Skubal with his pending free agent date of 2030. Starting pitching is always going to cost more even considering Miller's turbocharged arm. I might give up a top three prospect for Skubal depending on who else the Tigers demand in the trade.

Miller is a nice to have, but there are other relievers on the market who will cost less and be almost as effective.
