Just about to say the same thing. Looks like that's what he's trying to do, just can't get the bat to the ball even when he lets it travel.

Mayo seems to be overmatched right now...the foul balls show me hes not squaring anything up...its hard to watch  for me...

We won't see Mayo in the Orioles lineup for a while. He's so overmatched right now.

Dag…Mayo is getting schooled by big league pitching.  He’s gotta sit on e outside changeup and drive to RCF.  Until then, major league starters will do that all day to him, mess with his timing, and he’ll look completely out of sorts like Cowser and Holliday at times this year.

This kid is way overthinking, pressing, guessing wrong and needs to be sent back before this gets to his confidence.

Everytime I was in a slump hitting the ball to the right side got me out of it. Even if you struggle more in the short term it helps you see the ball longer and keep your hands back.
