He didn't mention whether he meant with injuries or batted ball data or what, but thought it was interesting that he used that term to describe the inconsistent play over the last 82+ games. 

 

I think it’s fair and correct to list injuries and bad batted ball luck among the reasons the team faltered.   We just shouldn’t delude ourselves into thinking those were the only reasons, or even the biggest ones.
