Best that Burnes cutter has looked in 2 months. Seems like taking 1mph off has led to better movement/location?

I'm not saying I wouldnt want him back. I'm just disagreeing that hes the perfect backup. He could certainly hit a lot more than he does. But you can live with it if hes not playing as much and bringing what he does off the field.

Burnes has looked excellent ever since the last out of the first inning. A little shaky to start with some pitches missing. After that, he seems to only throw a ball when it’s deliberate to throw off the batter.

Burnes 58 pitches after five innings with great command dropping in curves and painting the outside corner with the cutter on both sides. Nice armside fade on fastballs. Hope he can go eight.
