Branyan has a .495 career slugging percentage. He can hit the ball a long, long way.

Ok so the power this year is no joke. It's not like Luke Scott who's putrid for 75% of the year, and then has a 6 homer week. His BABIP is .398. When that adjusts to "normal" his average will decline. However, he's still probably looking at a .275 AVG and 35 HRs this year.
