Well the good news is we shortened Lester's outing with that inning by working the count. He threw 30 pitches.

The bad news is that Roberts continues to come up empty with runners on base. He has to lead the team with LOB this year.

Patience just got a pitch 4 inches outside called strike 3. Some may disagree but I would not have been upset if BRob and then DT gone nuts there. We are getting killed on the pitch a little off the outside corner. Lester is good enough. He does not need help.

All you need is a trio of pitching studs (or an amazing duo) with a well rounded offense.

Can you give me an example. Besides last year's Tampa Bay team, they are few and far between.

Well they would have had a better chance at three anyway. That's the best the Orioles have looked offensively against Lester all night.

I would have loved to see Brob or Trembly get ejected on that call... It was terrible. Granted Lester has been great tonight, he shouldnt get that call.
