All I can say is good for BRob...

From Roch regarding that horrible call:

Brian Roberts was furious at the called third strike by plate umpire Jerry Layne that ended the fifth inning. He flung his bat and helmet, and Layne warned him to settle down.

It's not over.

Between innings, Roberts stood on the dugout steps and continued to shout and point at Layne. Manager Dave Trembley stood in front of Roberts with his arms folded, trying to keep his second baseman from being ejected.

Trembley finally went to home plate and had a few words with Layne as Roberts threw his hands in the air and returned to the bench

Anything to cap this wonderful experience for Red Sox fans. Afterall, they did make the long and hard trip down here....

Maybe the sound engineers at OPACY will play Sweet Caroline for them, too.

;)

I can't wait for OPACY to become a hostile place for visiting teams.

2110 - the year we win our next WS

Oh, for the love of Matt Wieters! :cussing:

Have some faith, eh? The cook, scout, and blacksmith of the cavalry have only recently arrived. There are many reinforcements awaiting their orders.

Edit: Cubs win! Cubs win! Cubs win! :2yay-thumb: :drek:
