Never said it was. I just said he's never been the same player since the injury. He's also a professional loser. He lost in the minor leagues and he's lost every year in the major leagues. He's part of the losing culture of this organization.

I agree, it's almost as if he is unaware of whats going on and the outcome of the game doesnt matter.

And, again, though it seemingly looked like a move to run for Guerrero, but here again you have Fox coming up in the four slot in this inning....plus Wieters has caught thirteen innings....and....so you can't take Fox out at any point then.....for then there are NO catchers if Wieters turned an ankle or something.......

    • This is an Orioles Hangout! It’s important, because it’s the dreaded MFY. The Evil Empire. It’s the #$@!*&@^*! Yankees. All wins are extra glorious, and the beer tastes colder against the pin-stripers and losses are always a wee bit more bitter. Rich against poor, good against evil, and every battle is a chance to make the world a better place.
    • Back to Gunnar Henderson the incredible superstar 22 year-old baseball player, saw this interesting article about short stop rankings. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/40369915/mlb-shortstop-draft-bobby-witt-jr-gunnar-henderson-corey-seager-no-1-pick
    • I disagree about the Flaherty and Fujinama "acquisitions" (and I use that term VERY LOOSELY) last season. They both represented "unforced errors" and untimely hedging. Many (including myself) questioned the quality of the front part of our rotation beyond Bradish. It was hard to see that we had excellent depth in the starting rotation. But not the kind of quality up top to succeed through multiple rounds of the playoffs. Flaherty was literally one of the worse starting pitchers that was available. I understand that Elias was working on Cease. But you have to have a credible plan B. You can jump from plan A to plan F (break glass in case of emergency). Flaherty was so bad with us (IMO predictably) that he wasn't an option to start a postseason game and Fujinama wasn't even worth considering to appear on the roster.  IMO those were hedging trades that were made trying to be as cheap as possible when the roster was already as lost costing as could be. I understand that spending is inevitably an ownership choice. So, hopefully without the stench of Scrooge McAngelos around this time, Elias won't have such limiting hinderances to deal with.
    • Another step closer as the league now giving 100% run to the option people like better starting next week. https://www.espn.com/mlb/story/_/id/40377474/abs-challenge-system-set-used-triple-starting-june-25 Today and next two days sound like end of the line for full ABS withholding some valuable extra strikes on Chayce McDermott's nasty breaking pitches.
    • Jeff Kemp and Brian Holloway were two years behind me in high school.  Also Olympic Gold Medalist Mike Barrowman and Darren Star (Beverly Hills 90210 creator) and a few others.  And me.
    • First Brooks Robinson and now Gunnar...those O's will never learn. Drafting sketchy players from sketchy high schools.
