Is the decision of what to do with Adam Jones the biggest decision of the offseason?

This article, quoting one...rather narrow-minded scout...is mostly seems to advocate not trading Jones. But one thing that the scout had to say caught my attention:

If the Orioles put him on the market, Jones would fetch two major league ready pitchers and one promising minor leaguer, the scout believes.

Two ML-ready pitchers and a good prospect? I wonder what the scout was thinking in terms of pitcher-caliber.

The same scout also said that it would be "stupid" to trade Jones. I'm not exactly eager to trade him (in fact, I'm mostly anti), but I don't see how anyone could say trading him...period, irrespective of the package offered...would be stupid.

There will be several packages on the table for Jones that will be worth accepting IMO...very similar to Adam Jones.
