I like what Palmer just said just now in regard to Bucky having McLouth batting 3rd tonight. I've always said and felt that the difference between good managers and great managers are that great managers aren't afraid to go with hunches, regardless of what the book says. He gave a reason regarding McLouth being a fly ball hitter against a sinkerball pitcher, but he also essentially said "Because I said so."

Typical Tillman. Flashes great stuff. Has all the pitches, struggles with location. He's been better this year no doubt, but still similar struggles. You get wowed by the potential, but he's just not there yet.
