Actually, I believe that the "unacceptable" portion was having a runner on 3rd base with less than 2 outs, and not getting him in.

By the time the second runner moved into scoring position, the second out had been recorded on the strikeout, hence, no chance for a sac fly to plate the run.

The second runner having been in scoring position was (for the most part) an after the fact after we had failed to at least get the sac fly-RBI when there was only 1 out.

Reynolds has just shown the importance of what Markakis can do: cut down and adjust his swing to get the RBI hit to the opposite field in a tough situation.

He is an enigma, but let's not forget that the Rays have one of the best pitching staffs in all of baseball. He's still had some good abs... a walk and a near HR...

If we counted all the times we had a runner on 3rd this season with less than 2 outs and didnt drive him in...and if we drove that runner in only 10% of the time...we'd have a 5 game lead on the division

Mark's BA with RISP is pretty good. Manny had the bigger AB because we could of scored without a hit.

Yeah, they're on pace to set the ML record for K's and are leading the majors in ERA I believe too. Plus they want the division just as much as we do.
